Recent Projects

Recently I've been working on my Breast Cancer Thank You cards for the people that donated money to the Race for the Cure last weekend. I made these simple cards using the breast cancer stamps, the pink pirouette striped ribbon and the texturz plates. I LOVE how they turned out and I hope the people receiving them enjoy them!

Cameron was working on Birthday Thank You's and he made this really cool one using my tools set. Can you see what he did? Click on the photo to see it larger. He cut a piece of paper to be some wood, and then he put a brad in it, for a screw, and then put the screwdriver right up to the brad. SO CREATIVE!! And I didn't give him the idea either..he just went with it! So creative...I love it! That's my Cameron!

Here's the pages I made using some great Stampin' Up! paper, ribbons the Breast Cancer Stamp set of course!

Kyler's ScrapBook Pages

I used the new Choo Choo set to make this page from Kyler's first birthday! It's such a fun set and a must-have with 3 boys!

This was a favorite outfit of mine that Kyler wore as a baby...so I had to scrap it with this frog paper!!
Using up some retired goodies from SU!...the ABC wheel on cardstock, the apples paper and the bold brights buttons...even the crayon kids baby! Sometimes its fun to use the oldies but goodies!!
I had one more piece from the baby boy scrappin kit so I used it with some really little pictures of my baby who is almost THREE!!!

Scrappin Shares

I scrapped our family trip to Yosemite last summer. Scott hiked Half Dome with my Dad and saw a bear on the way...hence the bear sighting page!!

I love Stampin' Up!'s DSP...this page of Dallyn's candids was quick and easy with this paper!
I'm catching up on Kyler's baby book...here are some photos of him taking his first steps!
I used my new Jumbo Grommets from the Occasions Mini catalog! Here is a close up!

Mother Daughter Stamping

Kaylie and I stamped together this weekend! Look at this great card she made! She used my new three flower punch and my new Cheep Talk set. She's so talented!

Here is another card she made..we had a challenge to use my new oval punch and oval all stamp set and this is the card she came up with!
I finally started using my 6 by 6 paper stacks from the hostess plan last year. I also used a rub-on on the new jumbo brads!! Fun stuff!
This page is a few years behind! This is Kyler with his grandparents and siblings when he was a little baby! I finally scrapped it this weekend. I'm glad to have his baby book almost done!

Youth Class

These photos were taken with natural light and they are a bit washed out! But this weekend I'm teaching a youth class at church for 12-18 year olds and these are the cards I'm teaching.

Wanted them to get to try out the new Texturz Plates and the ink on stamps technique..plus punches! =)

This is a fun teen style set with the distressing tool and some more fun punches!
I have two versions of this baja breeze monochromatic card and one uses the eyelet border punch and one uses the scallop border punch and different DSP's.
Lastly I wanted them to try their hand at cutting out with the Big Shot and the top Note Die. I only have 50 minutes for the class I had to keep it pretty easy! Hope you enjoy the ideas!

These are more samples from my presentation on Saturday. This uses the new Raspberry Tart paper and the Hooray Hardware, as well as the clear rhinestone brads and felt flowers! I used glitter on chipboard for the first time! FUN!

The tree and title use rub-ons from the Bright Delights kit. The frog and the grass are from the new Hoppy Memories Simply Scrappin Kit.
These are my cute froggy swap cards! I love them! I used the texturz plates on the olive piece. Colors are So Saffron, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. I made 40 of these for my meeting last weekend.
My cute boys enjoying some craft time while the kids are offtrack! =)
